The University of Burdwan

Among the existing universities of West Bengal, the University of Burdwan occupies quite a strong place. This university was established in the year 1960 and keeping in mind its contribution in all over educational backdrop, it was awarded with 4 star status by NAAC. Currently there are thirty undergraduate colleges, spread over five districts, under jurisdiction of this university.
